Why Permahuman ?
- Michael from Permahuman
I think my initial genuine motivation to create the Permahuman project is the love I have for mankind.
I mean, we could have countless occasions to point out humans' behaviors that happen to be harmful for the sake of the whole.
But doesn't this depend on our own perspective, I mean on how / where / what are we actually looking at ? I like to think of humans as holders of an intelligence that can truly and positively benefit the different ecosystems (human and non-human). Take a vegetable garden for example. The presence of a human with permaculture skills (choosing and locating the different species so they naturally interact with eachother) will foster life and ultimately catalyse vegetable production. The same land surface without the presence of that human would't produce the same amount of this specific production.
We, as human, are a link in the chain of Life, intrinsically tied to it. And we have a power of creation and destruction on our environment. It's up to us to know what we want to do with it.
One of the permaculture main principles is to "react with creativity", create the alternative we want to see in the world.
I strongly believe in humans' capacityto bring the best to this world, once everything he/she has everything he/she needs for his/her own balance first. and that's what Permahuman is all about. Providing tools & tricks to fuel up the body / heart / mind human structure with the energy it requires to move forward towards. Positively, for him/herself, for the others and for the rest of the living world.
Did I create Permahuman or did it pave my way itself ?
I have the chance to have come accross very generous people in my life, who taught me the best of interpersonal relationships. Meaning here : trust, meaningful acts & words, and this overall feeling that there is a confortable seat available for you in somebody's opened heart where you're welcome to settle down comfortably ❤.
This is priceless.
Following path of nature
After graduationg in Sustainable Project Management Master Degree, Yoga came out on my way. Rather unconfomfortable at first I'd reckon, it quickly appeared to me that this body-mind practice help people cultivate the top sustainable key in our lives that is calm.
I then kept on studying the implications of body-mind practices on the functionning of our human physiology, above all the implications on our parasympathetic autonomous nervous system. I graduated from a Naturopathy Shcool (natural medicine and holistic wellness), enriched with those preciouso skills that I've acquire thanks to a team of passionate teachers who added to the inner fire that I have to spread the word myself now.
Hence this blog, but also the Permahuman podcast, the overall online courses on wellness and productivity and also a coaching proposition (Permahuman 1:1) for those who need an extra customised boost to clarify the path towards reaching their own objectives.
I feel grateful for you to read all this. Be welcome to the Ecosystem online community (free and paid plans available), so we make sure you receive regular updates about this inspiring project.
With peace,
Michael, founder of Permahuman
