My name is Michael. Usually pretty energetic person when I'm at it, but I used to just being tired all the time.
Commited to my full time job in a caritative Non-Profit in Paris at that time, I remember having to nap every single day of the week at work so I could keep up and get things done properly. True story.
You know this stinging eyes sensation after hours spent in front of that screen, my mind getting fuzzy at time and, paradoxically, shooting-star pace thoughts flow when in bed, as it was time to call it a night.
I don't know about you, but I had noticed those other symptoms alongside with tiredness :
❌ I was being easily irritated in my relationships
❌ loosing focus and creativity - my precious gifts !
❌ I kept waking up tired, my sleep wasn't even restorative
❌ Despite multiple alarm snoozes
❌ Willing to sleep during the day and staying up at night 🔄🤯
❌ Easily get distracted, searching for easy source of instant pleasure (food, games...)
❌ Occasional headhaches
❌ Bowel disturbance - What does this have to even do with tiredness ?!
❌ Less physical performance at work out activities
❌ Tendancy to get hurt more easily by loss of attention regarding that furniture angle...
At some point, I figured out that feeling of being tired all the time wasn't a normal thing.
I just didn't have the keys to change my situation and restore my sleep back to physiological levels.
So at some point, I decided to study more those topics. I already was a Yoga instructor and my practice got me to better connect to the sensations of my body. But I wanted evidence-based research to tell me what was going on in my body.
Here is what I found out.
through what physiologists call our "Autonomic Nervous System".
So I got to understand physiological understanding of :
✅ the impact of nutrition on the quality of my sleep
✅ the major conditions for falling asleep faster and sustainably sleep at night
✅ What it requires to get restful nights, so you wake up energized again
I then kept studying professionally to become a certified Naturopath (non-medical well-being balance practicionner), eventually speciaIized in sleep trouble, stress management and overall digestive troubles.
Because it's all connected through our autonomic nervous system !
There was no way I could keep all this knowledge and content for myself.

I've summed up everything I learnt and have applied to myself with for years now, with high level of success. Because yes, I do :
I drift off in a matter of minutes. Sometimes a bit more when I'm excited about a project or something happening the next day, but it never takes me more than 15min to fall asleep.
Very rarely do I wake up at night. And most of the time I do, I just roll onton the other side and catch right away the next spaceship to my dreams. When I rarely get insomnia, I know what to do.
I still get groggy the first minutes after I wake up. But this sensation fades away by the time I get to the bathroom (we'll get back to this sleep-digestion topic in the course). What a relief !
Nowadays, I barely get tired during the day.
And sleep has now become a very enjoyable part of my 24hours 🤗
